National Cat Day, founded by Pet Lifestyle Expert & Animal Behaviorist Colleen Paige, was established in an effort to galvanize the public to recognize the number of cats requiring rescue each year and to encourage cat lovers everywhere to celebrate the companionship and unconditional love freely offered by the cat(s) in our lives.
Come out and support Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, a local nonprofit rescue, in celebrating National Cat Day October 29-31 with special adoption prices on very special cats and kittens. Homeward Bound of Las Vegas, was founded in July 2007 and has reason to celebrate as they recently reached and surpassed 1000 adoptions in barely 2 years! They are extending their adoption hours the 29th through the 31st, and the fun continues through-out the evening of the 31st with their Dark Night adoption event. Come spin the ghostly apparition to "treat" yourself to reduced adoption fees on tabby, white and orange furry goblins! Unable to adopt? Please come by, enjoy the festivities and spend time with our Halloween pumpkins. It is sure to be a thrilling evening!
