Jenny & Mosie, Bonded Pair Need a New Home

October 29, 2009, 3:49PM MT
By Judy Marshall, Best Friends Network Volunteer Program

Jenny and Mosie’s person is very, very ill and can no longer care for them.  Jenny (female) and Mosie (male) are American bulldogs who are bonded for life and must stay together.  They are located in Gainesville, FL and transportation can be arranged.

They are about 6 years old, spayed & neutered, and in good health.  Jenny and Mosie are current on all vaccinations and take no medications.  Soon, Jenny will have right knee ligament surgery, which has been paid for.  One is white, one partly brindle.  They eat once a day in the evening.  They’re being fed Purina dry, mixed with a small can of Bistro soft food.

Jenny and Mosie are housetrained and walk on leashes.  They are well-mannered and are not barkers, diggers, or fence-jumpers.  Both dogs are good with children, other dogs, and cats.  They have been walked regularly by an 11-year-old girl.  They have never shown aggression and have had some obedience training (sit and possibly more).   Jenny and Mosie are never left outside and sleep in beds in their owner’s bedroom.
