Data Requirements for Network Partners

Part 1: Reporting Monthly Intake/Outcome Data

All Network partners that have intakes and outcomes to report are required to register with Shelter Animals Count and report monthly data.

Shelter Animals Count is a collaborative initiative formed by a diverse group of stakeholders (including Best Friends) to create and share a national database of sheltered animal statistics, providing facts, and enabling insights that will save lives.

Please note, your authorized user must confirm your account via email and opt in to sharing your data publicly during the registration step.  Organizations must also accept the invitation to join the Best Friends network coalition in Shelter Animals Count.

Not sure if you need to register? Click here to learn more.

Part 2: Reporting Annual Stats

All organizations must turn in an Annual Stats Report to us once a year. New partners will report annual stats during the application process. Use this link to access the web form for reporting your baseline 2015 and 2016 annual intake/outcome stats. Download this worksheet to see the data we collect.
