Please help them help these animals!
By Kelli Banet, Best Friends Network VolunteerThe Meriden Humane Society has once again stepped in to save the lives of dozens of cats and kittens. More than sixty five felines were taken from a private Meriden home. Many of the animals are ill. Some are dehydrated and emaciated. The original news story can be read
here.
A month ago, the Meriden Humane Society rescued 56 cats and 2 dogs from a private home in New Britain. A 5 year old child was also removed from that residence. As stated in the previous
story, people can have the best of intentions, but there is a line between
helping and
hoarding animals. It needs to be distinguished and respected.
