“Chip Your Cat” Program Announced in Colorado

September 29, 2008 : 1:40 PM
What a program! Free microchips are available for cats in metro Denver. Learn how we can all partipicate, and take advantage of free microchipping for our feline friends.

CHIP YOUR CAT kicked off September 24 at the Denver
Dumb Friends League Quebec Street shelter
. As DDFL’s website states:
The initiative is the result of a collaboration among local animal shelters, veterinarians and two major pet product companies, Home Again and Bayer resQ.

What a great program and I certainly hope many people take advantage of the opportunity to get their cats microchipped. They really work, read about how one cat was reunited with her family after nine years, because of her chip, http://network.bestfriends.org/news/postdetail.aspx?np=28858.
