Focus on Felines Campaign Resources  - from Best Friends

  • Community Cat Program Fact Sheet - Best Friend’s Community Cat Program serves feral cats in 38 communities in southern Utah and northern Arizona. Here are the guidelines we give to volunteer trappers.
  • Community Cat Relocation - It is best to leave community* (a.k.a. feral) cat colonies at their original locations, but cmoving cats to another permanent outdoor location is a viable alternative to trapping and killing. With careful planning and selection of the new premises and caregivers, and strict confinement of the cats before release, relocation can be successful.
  • Solutions to Cat-Related Issues - Whether you love or loathe community* (a.k.a. feral) cats,trap/neuter/return (TNR) is the answer to effectively reducing the number of these cats.
  • Humane Trapping Instructions for Community Cats - The following are guidelines recommended by Best Friends for trapping community* (a.k.a. feral) cats.
