Dundee Boy RIP

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this post. Dundee Boy, our friend, our guardian, loyal companion passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Dundee Boy was the best dog we could ever have. He enriched our lives in ways we never could have imagined...

Peony went to the vet today - she is doing much better. Her foster mom is taking great care of her ...and now that her condition has stabilized we hope to have her admitted into a no-kill shelter. Divo is out of the basement - he is somewhere safe. Monies...

Peony in hospital....@#$!

Peony's is staying with a friend while I am out of town. Peony's tail wasn't looking good, oozing puss, swollen, hot to the touch.... ...then she's not passing poop properly....problems..... Peony is now at emergency hospital and IN SURGERY...

Divo's home makeover

Divo is going to IOWA!

Networking via Facebook has led to finding a foster home for Divo - the foster home will be "foster to adopt". Yes, he has two collars on - I will remove the icky black one ASAP. The foster home is in Mason City, Iowa! I need gas money, please...

Divo returns to his "home"

Early this morning i took Divo to PAWS Chicago to be neutered. He was happy to see me, happy to go on a walk, and happy to meet lots of girl dogs at PAWS... Divo wondering what we're doing here. He was not happy to meet boy dogs, nor the vet or vet...

Dog foster needed - ASAP

Divo the dog He's 1.5 yrs old. They said he's an American Bull Terrier - but he looks like a mix to me...but i am not a pit bull dog breed expert by any means....he has jack russell coloring!!? He's a kissy dog - likes to give kisses.... dunno...

Peony is recovering - Yay Peony!

Peony suddenly has a hearty appetite and was meowing (screaming) for more food this morning! WOW! What a turn around! She must also feel a heck of a lot better cause she's moving around, the toys were all scattered so she must have even played last...
