Although not a photo, I wanted to share a feature of the early editions of Best Friends magazine. For the first several years, each issue contained a vegan recipe from Cyrus Mejia, accompanied by a cartoon by George Kehew.

I found this recipe for Tempeh Fajitas as I was leafing through my copy of the very first issue from March/April 1992 before I turn it over to be placed in the 25th anniversary time capsule.

Cyrus has become famous for his art, but many probably don't know that he is also an accomplished musician and vegan cook.
