I have been with Best Friends since 2015. My educational background and passion is in the field of the psychology with an emphasis on the human-animal bond. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with animals of all sorts, including birds of prey and wolf-dogs, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time educating the general public about these wonderful animals.

I first fell in love with Best Friends after watching countless hours of the popular television show “DogTown” with my mother, which showcased the organization’s incredible, lifesaving work. I knew I had to be a part of their mission and interned at the Sanctuary during the summer of 2010. I can easily say this was the best experience of my life and I knew I had found my calling. I volunteered in various capacities for Best Friends, including the wildly popular Strut Your Mutt events, and am thrilled to now work closely with our network partners. I’m amazed at the lifesaving work they do every single day, and I take great pride in supporting their endeavors.

I am a born-and-raised Floridian, residing in Orlando with my feisty felines Baker and Callie.
