I started working for Best Friends in 2004 and I can't imagine being anywhere else. It's been an incredible journey to watch our organization grow and to be a part of the social movement to help Save Them All. It's a privilege to work with shelters and rescue groups that are accomplishing great things on behalf of homeless animals, and I'm blessed to work with amazing colleagues who I consider cherished friends. I'm excited to see the collective progress we're making each year to save more lives through the No More Homeless Pets Network and other programs throughout the country.
I met my husband at Best Friends and we share our home in Gilbert, Arizona with six wonderful dogs who range from 70 pounds to three pounds. I enjoy fostering dogs, hiking, vegan cooking, thrift shopping, dancing, travel, speaking French and being surrounded by nature. I'm trying to learn to meditate and relax more, but there's just so much to do and helping animals will always be at the top of the list.
