FINALLY there is an active criminal investigation into "Theft by Deception" a.k.a. Fraud, against monster cat-killer Virginia Kresge Justiniano and her business "Cats With No Names." I have updates re: other criminal charges upcoming: she was already found guilty of drug charges in the recent past, and we are waiting to hear the

My recent blogs have focused on rather serious topics, so I think it’s time to lighten things up a bit! To that end, I would like to share some recent Speaking for Spot sightings that prompted me to laugh out loud. I hope they have the same effect on you! Carolyn, a friend I’ve made through Speaking for Spot , turned me onto a wonderful

These pictures were taken when my friend Tammi Burns came from Indiana to see me and the kids. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I must add, I thnk my kids are so beautiful!

I live in Omaha Nebraska and have been assisting, mentoring, and financially assisting people in this city who have had their dogs shot by police. I have made contact with 21 people now whose dogs were shot and killed or critically wounded. Not one of these dogs was deserving of being shot. About half of these dogs were Pit Bulls and the rest were Choc

While our friends in northern Virginia are getting over 2 feet of snow--we only got 4 inches--but I am so over winter! The dogs are having a wonderful time with the falling snow. They go out, run around, come in and get dried off and immediately want to go out again. I have spent the day "letting the dogs out and letting the dogs in". Spring

I've also gone back to school to do my graduate work in

I work up one morning not having to go to work (a vet hospital) until 11am. As Chloe had tried to walk from my dining room to my kitchen I noticed she was hardly using her hind legs. First I thought maybe back injury, or she

Since I was on here last, I underwent a breakup which has caused me to be physically separated from most of my favourite creatures. Noël, my blue cat, and I had been on our own until a little over a year ago when, not wanting to replace my first babies, I nevertheless entertained the idea of getting Noël a feline companion. How I ended up

Tuesday was a great day with the kitties - When I got into Room 5, Baby was outside, basking in the winter sun. Well, being the weenie that I am, I didn't want to go out - just too cold! It has to be at LEAST in the 60's for me to THINK about it! So, somewhere in the 40's - uh uh, not going to happen. So, I stuck my head out and told her

Up at 3:00am, which seems like the darkest part of the night, when you're caring for a sick one. Gave Sumi a drip, as she hasn't been able to drink today, and seemed so uncomfortable...she kept approaching water dishes, the faucet, the bathroom, etc., but couldn't drink anything. I'll head to the vet first thing in the morning to see
