Glimpses into the day-to-day workings of the Feral Freedom program

Glimpses into the day-to-day workings of the Feral Freedom program

It should come as no surprise that after having spayed and neutered over 1,000 cats in the past few months, there are bound to be some interesting stories to tell. Cameron Moore, Program Manager for First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) maintains the Feral Freedom blog, which chronicles some of the more remarkable “tails.”

This week, Moore features Beau and Coup. While many would incorrectly state that community cats have no homes, these two brothers really didn’t. The address given to the folks at FCNMHP simply did not exist, so since they could not be returned to their neighborhood, now the handsome and loving siblings are looking for a loving home.

Read her first-hand accounts on how microchips really do work, how Van Gogh adopted a family shortly after being fixed, and how the Feral Freedom program is impacting the local animal shelter.

For these, and other stories being updated regularly, please check out the
Feral Freedom Blog
.

Wow! These boys are beautiful - no way could they be feral and in such pristine condition. It's a shame people are taking advantage of the generosity of such a worthwhile program to dump their unwanted animals. Thank you FF for helping all those in need.

Cameron does a magnificant job. Also, check out www.LuckyCatAdoptions.org. They are not-for-profit and do amazing work. You can see them at PetSmart at the Avenues every weekend!!!

Exactly, T!
And one of them-I'm not sure if it's Beau or Coup, will roll over and ask for that bellyrub! :)
They are strikingly gorgeous.
