Whether you’re part of a rescue group or shelter or an animal loving member of Best Friends, you’ll hear lots of exciting news about the work on behalf of the animals happening at the Best Friends’ sanctuary in Utah, around the country and in your own back yard.
Best Friends founder Gregory Castle and CEO Paul Berry will be joining Rick DuCharme of First Coast No More Homeless Pets to talk to rescue groups during the afternoon. Topics will include ground-breaking feral cat programs happening in your area, as well as other programs and tools that can give every group a leg up in solving the homeless pet problem. Rescue groups may choose to come back for the evening program to display information about their work and mingle with members.
The group meeting will be followed by a members’ meeting in the evening where the history, present and future of Best Friends will be highlighted along with details about how working together we can achieve No More Homeless Pets in our lifetime. And of course, the evening will include a wonderful slideshow featuring the adorable and often heroic animals of Best Friends! It’s sure to be an inspirational day for everyone.
