Dear Rescuers:
My name is Tory Joyce. Myself, Kris Jackson and Sarah Green are writing you for assistance with an animal situation in Huntingburg, Indiana. It is urgent.
This rescue had become overwhelmed and wound up with 90+ dogs. For the last six weeks we have moved 70—sadly, 32 of which were euthanized. We are now down to 22 dogs that need to be saved NOW.
We have pleaded and begged with local area shelters and rescue groups and now we are down to the last wire and desperately need help as we have NOWHERE to put these last 22 souls that need to be taken off site tomorrow or they will be shot (in Indiana it is legal to dispose of an animal in any manner as long as it is not electrocution).
We have 22 mixed breeds. Mostly are 35 lbs. and over. Their temperaments are varied, some of the medical is unknown and some are not socialized.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• We are begging for help in any shape and form. We desperately need a place to house these dogs until we can get no kill shelters and groups to step up. We need transporters, crates, temporary and long term placement. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
• We will be leaving Louisville tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. and traveling to Huntingburg, Indiana.
• My contact information is 502-742-2518 or e-mail toryjoyce@insightbb.com
Thanking you in advance.
