Join Ken Foster, author and Pit Bull enthusiast for a Webinar on August 3
Ken Foster’s new book, Dogs I Have Met and The People They Found, shares some extraordinary stories of courage and hope. From a pit bull in Michigan who adopts a runt piglet from the local farm to grassroots spay and neuter efforts in the villages of Costa Rica. Many of these stories involve people who are faced with difficult decisions and unexpected problems: a woman who opens her home to 55 dogs at one time; a family who discovers their new dog is a hemophiliac; the staff of Oakland's Animal Services as they choose to save a pit bull with broken pelvis--and an incurable urge to kiss strangers. And, of course, Ken’s own stories about his life in New Orleans as the neighborhood returned to rebuild with their dogs.
Join Ken--and Best Friends--for our upcoming webinar. He’ll be sharing stories and resources from the new book, and also talking about The Sula Foundation, a new organization dedicated to pit bulls in New Orleans.
