Can your bunnies learn to do tricks? The rabbits in Reno will! Santa Barbara-based rabbit rescue group, BUNS, is sending 2 volunteers to the Best Friends Rabbit Ranch to, yes, teach us how to clicker train the rabbits!
BUNS has successfully used clicker training to socialize rescued rabbits, making them more adoptable. Best Friends is hosting 4-hour classes at the Ranch on Saturday, May 27th, and Sunday, May 28th. Current and new volunteers are welcome- youth age 12 and older must have a parent or guardian with them at all times. The classes are free, with donations welcome to help cover costs. Attendees will need to bring a sack lunch. To sign up, email Tiffani via Network email.
After completing a class, volunteers will be assigned at least one rabbit to clicker train in preparation for adoption.
THANK YOU, BUNS! Thank you, also, to the volunteers from the Sacramento House Rabbit Society who will be joining us that weekend to help with rabbit care and the classes.
