Chinese dogs are saving people's lives after the devastating quake.

Doggie citizens are finally getting the recognition they deserve as folks in some of the hardest-hit places see trained sniffer dogs rescuing family and friends. The dogs can sniff through rubble where the humans can't see anything. And many amazing rescues have been officiall attributed to these animals.

It's wonderful to read this sort of positive news about dogs in China. Dogs helping human beings--maybe this happening will indeed go some little way toward changing attitudes where they need changing.
