What great news... outstanding job to all the dedicated folks who week after week stood on the front lines. It truly gives one hope that the ground swell from this closing echos loudly across the country.

jean1958, contact humane societies in your state and ask if and how they are working on the puppy mill issue.
Some are actively pursuing legislation, and need people to join in email and letterwriting campaigns to legislators.
Put "Michigan puppy mills" into searches like Google (both Web Search and News search) to keep up with what is going on in your state.
(just beware of sham Michigan breeders claiming they don't run puppy mills! If they say that, they do!)
And look at some other puppy mill groups in other states to get a feel for what these groups do like
http://www.nowisconsinpuppymills.com/ and
http://www.njcapsa.org/ and consider starting a group.

Way to go!!!!
I'm very glad that the Posh Puppy store has closed. However, I cant help but wonder if they will just reopen somewhere else with a different name.
I've been following this story for quite some time. Congratulations on shutting down Posh Puppy! Excellent work and amazing commitment by everyone involved.

thanks for exposing the truth!!
OUTSTANDING START----The ONLY way to end the atrocities of puppy mills is by hitting them where it hurts-IN THE POCKETBOOK!! Imagine if we could do the same around the country;forcing the shutdown of individually owned pet stores as well as the chains i.e.Petland the support the puppy mills. No Money--No Retailers--No Brokers--NO PUPPY MILLS. There must be a way that together all the rescue groups can unite and hit them where it hurts. We must organize a national day-wwek of action and protest nationwide. I challenge USHS--LCA--ASPCA and all rescue groups to meet this challenge. The dogs need us now more than ever.
