P.G.T. Beauregard Middle School
1201 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA

(locally we know this as St. Bernard Hwy., this is the continuation of N. Rampart to St. Claude, and turns into St. Bernard Hwy. after Arabi)
Kelle's message below asks for anyone who can come and meet at 2pm and show support against the dismissal of charges of the two St. Bernard parish sheriff’s deputies who were involved in the murder of dozens of pets. If you cannot be there at that time, place flowers and notes anytime today or tonight or tomorrow morning... animal people we need to show the justice system and the media that we care what happened to these pets. We need to send a message that blatant cruelty should be prosecuted. We need to give these murdered pets a voice since they are no longer here because of the heinous shootings that happened in St. Bernard Parish in the days after Katrina.

There is going to be a memorial for the dogs shot after Hurricane Katrina in response to the recent dismissal of all charges of the two deputy sheriffs that were charged in the street shootings that were filmed. Flowers will be placed at Beauregard Middle School in memory of these animals.
Please join us...There has been a public outcry, and many people are saddened and shocked at the recent events, and any of us that were actually there, or have seen the video in its entirety, cannot believe these charges have been dropped.
All who are interested can meet at Beauregard Middle School in St Bernard Parish (where 33 dogs were found slaughtered) at 2:00 pm on Wed Jan. 30. A photographer for the Washington Post is going to be there to take photos. There have also been petitions and a Channel 26 ABC news blog where many people have responded. Attorney General Caldwell needs to see that people do still care about the animals who lost their lives and do not support his decision in this case.
We have a florist that is accepting donations to help get the flowers and we want to get as many flowers as we can. She is going to make a basket as well as some single flowers to be placed at the school. Here is her contact info and she will accept any amount of donation and your name will be added to the card also. FLOWERS BY JANICE, 6609 JEFFERSON HWY., 504-737-1233 Thanks so much! Let’s not forget!
Please let me know by email if you donate, and the amount so we can keep track of all transactions. Thanks again.
