More than 100 animals rescued from hoarding situation looking to make a new start

No More Homeless Pets in Utah, with the assistance of Best Friends, has taken the lead in a major rescue operation involving more than 100 dogs and cats. A shelter facility in Morgan County was closed by authorities due to severe neglect, and the animals are in desperate need of new homes.
Their big chance for a new start is this weekend. They are getting ready for the Morgan County Emergency Pet Adoption this Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Layton Hills Mall from 12pm to 6pm.
Though they've had to overcome stressful living conditions, these are healthy and adoptable cats and dogs that just need the right home. Visit the online gallery to see their beautiful faces.

Meet the Great Sachemoe. This big guy is a Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix. His large loving heart is waiting for the right family to chose him. Won't you be the one to take this gentle giant home?
