Dingo is now the subject for a “tail” for children.

Dingo is now the subject for a “tail” for children.
Dingo appears to be just any other dog, but he will soon reach celebrity status. Just a few years ago his future was not so bright, but then he was adopted from “death row” at a Galveston area animal shelter by Tracy Bradshaw. She and her husband Bascom, a Major in the military, travel extensively and wherever they go, people are naturally drawn to Dingo’s good looks and sweet personality.
Now Dingo serves as the main character of a fictitious story intended to teach children about pet adoption and compassion to animals. Where Do Dingos Come From is scheduled for publication in December.
Bascom Bradshaw has always loved animals but acknowledges his wife’s dedication is what drew him to animal welfare. Tracy Bradshaw volunteered at the shelter where they adopted Dingo and has been involved with TNR (trap, neuter, and release) since 1997.
For now, Dingo continues his mission of goodwill and ambassadorship on behalf of shelter animals. It is anyone’s guess which of his daily adventures may be the source for new book sequels.

• Though not yet published, Dingo currently has a website. A portion of future book sales will be donated to animal shelters and rescues.
