Great job Connie. Great article. Now, if we can just get more good articles like that in all the other states, including Ohio....
Well done, and well written.
Thanks SO MUCH for clarifying to readers about the special care and needs ferrets have - and, debunking the 'myths' about ferrets!!
Years ago I mentored a young woman who was going through a tough time; she had ferrets and took excellent care of them! She'd made an amazing room-filling 'run' set-up for them with special/safe pipes and ladders - and those little sweeties ran and played and had a ball each and every day. I've been charmed by ferrets ever since! Readers - please see the update/report on the Best Friends Guardian Angels site & check out the kitty "Cotton" who now is in a wonderful forever home with Chula77 & her family which includes ferrets!!! :) You'll LOVE the pix!!!
Hi Everyone I jsut stumbled on this web page. And now I am wondering WHERE CAN I GET A FERRET FOR FREE??? I really want one. Can someone tell me a pet sores location that includes adopting a free ferret please? Or a store where I can rescue one? PLEASE???? When I say free I mean NO FEE INCLUDED!!

Earlier this year we adopted 2 of Connie's ferrets, Amy and Bandit, (formerly known as Oot and Poot), and we love them dearly. They tell me they feel the same way about us. :-)
Thanks Connie for allowing us to adopt them. But most of all, thanks for all the work you do on behalf of all the ferrets that come your way. They are lucky to have you.
Good work Connie!
It is great seeing ferrets getting more exposure in the humane arena. We all send greetings from the east coast. Alicia, Ferret Wise and Ferret Friends US!
