Best Friends is raffling off two pairs of tickets to the 2008 Indianapolis 500.
Whether or not you think that waving the white flag means surrender, or that a spoiler is someone who tells you the ending of a movie before you’ve seen it, you certainly know that the Indianapolis 500 is motorsport’s most enduring and legendary race.
Known as “The Greatest Spectacle in Sports,” it’s a must-see not only for race fans, but anyone who enjoys the pomp and circumstance surrounding an iconic American event.
If you’ve ever thought you’d like to attend the race – or if you have someone on your gift list who would – Best Friends is offering you the perfect opportunity. For just $10 you can buy a raffle ticket that could win you free passes to the 2008 Indy 500.

Two winners will be selected at a drawing September 28; each will get a pair of passes.
Indy Pro Series driver Andrew Prendeville and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway donated the passes to help support Best Friends.
Andrew, who drives the Best Friends #5 car, has helped raise thousands of dollars this season through his Racing Laps for Best Friends promotion. Coincidentally (or not), the biggest donor to Racing Laps is Mari Hulman George, chairwoman of the speedway and a Best Friends member.
So obviously they’re going to be good seats. In fact, they’ll be located in the lower level of the Paddock Grandstand, which gives you a front and center view of the start/finish line.
Next year's race, which will be the 92nd running of the Indy 500, is scheduled for May 25.
If you’d like to increase your odds of winning, remember that there is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase. And, of course, the money goes to a good cause – supporting Best Friends' work for the animals.
