DAWG’s Mission Statement — To better the lives of animals in Douglas County by improving the adoptability of animals at the Douglas County Animal Shelter and thereby increasing the adoption rate, educating the community about responsible pet ownership, and engaging in other projects and activities that will yield positive benefits to the animals, owners, and citizens.
