Cockfighting ban is assigned to Committees in the House

we would like to take a moment to thank those Senators that spoke up numerous times in support of the cockfighting ban on the Senate floor on Wednesday and fought against amendments that were introduced to weaken the bill: Senator Mary Jane Garcia, Senator Cisco McSorley, Senator John Arthur Smith, Senator Michael Sanchez, Senator John Grubesic, and Senator Leonard Lee Rawson. Many heartfelt thanks to all of them from APV and its members and supporters.
SB10 is now moving on to the House and has been assigned to two committees: Agriculture & Water Resources Committee and Judiciary Committee.
We hope to have a hearing scheduled soon, so if you live in one of the districts for one the Representatives listed below, please contact them immediately and ask them to support SB10.
