Kanab Senior Center has been in the need of some help and assistance.

Kanab Senior Center has been in the need of some help and assistance. Their kitchen has been out of action since October due to a lot of work that needed to be completed. Faye Anne, Director of the center put out a cry for help to local contractors volunteering their time to get the project completed. Erin Wise, Best Friends Community Relations Manager brought it to the attention of Maintenance Management and it was decided to assist the Kanab Senior Center.

Faye Anne is delighted with the progress that has taken place since Best Friends Maintenance Team offered their skills and talents. Benny, Margaret, Darren, Devin, Roger and Layne have all put a hand in to get the center’s kitchen operational once again.

Once we decided to help we wanted to get our team in and tackle as much as we could. The Center has been sitting dormant for months and we need to get the center’s kitchen open to the seniors. The project is due for completion during the first week in January.
