Stumped on a Father's Day Gift?

To be a father is to be a guardian.

To be a father is to be a guardian. Just as a father watches over his children it is a guardian's responsibility to look after, care for, and protect those individuals entrusted in his or her care.

Humane League of Lancaster Count

For the past seven years the Guardianship Program at the Humane League of Lancaster County has helped us look after, care for, and protect the homeless animals of our community. Let your dad know how much you appreciate him this Father's Day by giving him the gift of a guardianship.

In addition to saying, "Happy Father's Day," you can use your guardianship to honor the memory of a loved one, recognize a friend, or celebrate one of life's milestones. Dedicating a guardianship to one (or more) of your furry friends is also a meaningful way to recognize the impact they have had on your life. Both dog kennels and cat cages are available for guardianship. With each guardianship, a full color laminated card will be displayed on your dog kennel/cat cage, featuring your personal message of dedication as well as a picture, if you choose. Click here to get started.

Your participation in our Guardianship Program will help provide a safe and caring place for hundreds of cats and dogs to stay as they wait to find a forever home!
