It was like summer in April, with temperatures set to be in the 90’s in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, but that didn’t discourage the 300+ participants in the 2009 Arthritis Walk…and it didn’t deter Shelli Ebright and Jennifer Warfield, Pennsylvania Ambassadors, from spreading the good news about Best Friends.

They staffed a table and enjoyed the beautiful, sunny day chatting with walkers and volunteers alike, several of whom brought along their dogs. Dogs were welcome because, as staffer April Cobb, put it, “Dogs suffer from arthritis too.” Shelli and Jennifer found a receptive audience in the group because many of them had heard of Best Friends through the TV show, Dogtown or were familiar with the Vicktory Dogs story.
All in all, it was a successful, fun day that did a lot to raise awareness and support for two great causes!
