Just a note...there is a couple in Veyo who took over "Angels For Animals" (now it's "Second Chance Ranch") there, and because of conditions, they literally are trying/have to (on their own) remodel the entire set up (all while adopting out animals). $20,000 would mean A LOT towards creating the improvements needed. Best Friends seriously is AWESOME, but I'm actually hoping for Angels For Animals/Second Chance Ranch on this particular contest.

If folks are looking for a small shelter that does the up-most (sp?) with every penny, vote for "Delano Police Department Animal Control". Frankie, Glenda and David are tireless volunteers who make up for the animal-unfriendly area they live in. Animals really benefit for each $1 here!
Yes PLEASE don't forget the smaller animal organizations that are just trying to stay afloat in these very trying times. They don't take in millions of dollars each year but are also saving many lives out there.
What a wopnderful way to help our animaqls. Way to go!

This site will send you a daily email reminder, it's the first place I go after reading my emails.
Good luck to Best Friends, all the Rescue groups and shelters who are entered. Remember to click everyday.
