This year’s Spring Books N’ Baskets Benefit Brunch features special guest speaker Michael Mountain, Co-Founder of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Cats-Are-Purrsons-Too and Touched by an Animal, are organizations dedicated to helping cats and people in need in the Chicago area.

The mission of Touched By An Animal is to help the elderly keep their companion animals. They visit the elderly in their homes to assist with changing litter boxes, taking their pets to the vet, or any other tasks they might need help with.
