Tips and Information for Promoting L.A. Super Adoption

Flyer Pick-Up Locations:
Fixnation’s Burbank office: 7680 Clybourn Ave, Los Angeles, CA 91352
Santa Monica: David Lerio’s house (on front porch) at 2262 Cloverfield Blvd.
West L.A.: Jennifer Fine’s house (on front porch) at 10933 Ayres Ave., 90064
Suggested locations for posting
• Pet supply stores
• Veterinary offices
• Starbucks, juice bars, grocery stores with bulletin boards
• Libraries (you may need to ask before posting)
• Strip mall stores
• Any public bulletin boards
Tips for approaching businesses
• Ask to speak with the manager on duty. Introduce yourself as a volunteer of Best Friends Animal Society and mention they’re holding another Super Adoption Festival
• If Petco: Tell him/her that Best Friends was given permission by Paul Jolly of Petco Foundation to have certain Petco’s assist us in promoting the event, by hanging posters somewhere inside the store and in their window or main doorway. Ask him/her to divide the flyer stack up, place a pile at each checkout and please speak with each of their checkout people to insure this will be done.
• Please, always be polite and thank everyone for their assistance and support.
• This is a very important aspect of promoting these Super Adoption Festivals, as it will help in getting more people to the park to hopefully adopt a pet.
