For the love of cats…….

Napoleon, a ten-year-old cat belonging to Angela Atkinson, of Worthing, West Sussex is one fortunate feline. After accidentally falling from a second storey window the frightened, but otherwise unhurt, feline sought refuge in the engine of Sandra Dudas’ Peugeot 206.

Wedged in the middle, behind the gearbox, firefighters had no choice but to dismantle the car.

Napoleon, tired and hungry but unhurt following his adventures, was finally reunited with Angela after a two-hour operation on the vehicle .

However, there has been no word on the condition of the car following the surgery.

But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cat. He walked by himself, and all places were alike to him. — RUDYARD KIPLING
